FEBRUARY

In February the mornings might be a bit cooler, viz 15 to 20 Celsius, but as soon as the sun comes out it gets warm rather quickly with temperatures of 25 and more, probably even close to 30.

Flower Festival

This event occurs during the period when Chiang Mai's temperate and tropical flowers are in full bloom. The festivities include colourful floral floats, parades, traditional dancing shows and a beauty contest

Makha Bucha

Activities: This religious holiday commemorates the occassion of the buddha's first sermon to 250 disciples. All are welcome to join the "Wien Thien" procession under the full moon.
